My name is Sofia Conti and I am a mature student who has just completed her HND2 Photography at Edinburgh College, which I achieved an A for my Graded Unit 2. Thanks to this successful result I will progress on to study the BA in Photography.
As a child I have always had creative flare by drawing and enjoy various forms of art and design. After studying Higher Art and Higher, Craft and Design in 6th year at St. Augustine’s High School, I decided to work for a year to gain more life experience before I progressed to study HNC Interior Design at Edinburgh Telford College.
After this I worked in a variety of roles that where more customer focused which included elements of community engagement along with enforcement powers. Two years ago I decided to get back into education as I wanted to change my career to work in the Creative Industry.
My journey began at New College Lanarkshire, Motherwell, where I studied HNC Photography. Receiving an A for my Graded Unit 1 project helped me earn a place within Edinburgh College, HND2 Photography, where I have been continuing my journey.
